Hello, my name is Katarina, I’m from Rocky River, OH, I am this year’s GMI President! I am a Junior, Biology Pre-Med major at CWRU and I’m so excited to work with the executive board, the general body, and other student groups on campus to really increase global health awareness and get GMI’s name out there! By doing events such as collaborations, I hope that we can increase the amount of funds raised to send supplies overseas and truly impact people’s lives. I like to play sports, read, play the guitar and my passion is SigEp. I’ve gone on a medical mission trip to Peru and as of right now, I’m thinking of becoming a pediatric cardiologist. |

My name is Sophia Hu and I am undergraduate freshman ’15 at CWRU who plans to major in nutritional biochemistry andmetabolism. As an executive board member, I look forward to helping plan events for the upcoming years, going on mission trips, and contributing as much as possible to this club. By volunteering at Medwish and by promoting the values of this club through GMI-sponsored events, I hope to gain an increased awareness of global health issues and help others to do the same as well. |
